When I was just 6 I remember there being so many grasshoppers and bugs around our cottage, a swarm of crayfish in the creek every night and tadpoles in the lake, but as I was growing up there were less and less of them.
I visited the place again two years ago, after not being there for almost 10 years, and it was depressing. A field changed into a parking lot, a lot of shitty bungalow houses looking completely out of place, you can't hear insects chirp, crayfish aren't in the creek anymore, and tadpoles are still in the lake, but the whole lake is much dirtier now.
It broke my heart. I'm happy I got to experience the good times but I'd be happier if my kids could experience all that too one day.
God I fucking hate industrialization so much, only a complete shithead of a cuck can be happy just because "at least there are fewer mosquitoes here tee hee".
