>>54760291Not any time soon because they arent first (5th) world multitranny hellholes thus they dont really pander to anyone by putting very inspired settings like those in middle east, other than real gamers that is, but i was talking capitalism amerishart craze wise.
Theres like dozens if not hundreds of possibilities they can play with middle eastern locations and history, instead we get amerifarts's trashbags and britannica's estrogen tea.
Though Pokemon, even if very slightly, did at least hint to egypt with lucario and the abyssal ruins, and maybe other things im not remembering right now. It would be great, especially to do actually ancient settings. Obviously modernity wise, everything is dull (but first shit still more than others), instead of making just references to antiquity with the main legendaries they should make entire ancient locations. Even britshit would be acceptable if they made it medieval. North america cant really be saved in that regard either kek
The thing is all thats interesting in Pokemon, in fact, is solely the references to the past in the story. But its always a "le distant, long gone past". Not even Legends is actually in the past, its barely in less modern japan, and even there everything revolves around the long gone past.
They dont even need to go directly to middle east (or south america...or the rest of asia...) to do this. They finally put the first reference to romans and its only a small area in paldea with nothing in it other than being part of a minuscule quest.
