Those 3 are really the only truly amazing Normal types. Then you have awful ones like Pidgeot, Raticate, Fearow, Wigglytuff, Farfetch'd, Lickitung, Porygon, and Ditto.
Meanwhile Mr. Mime is the only Psychic that isn't great and yet is still miles better than anything listed above

Normal *IS* the best type, hands down, by virtue of being immune to body slam's paralysis
psychic types are good, of course, but they'd be strictly better with a normal typing on them

I enjoy doing monotype runs in games where that type does not have a representative, e.g. Normal in gen 1, Ground in gen 2, etc. What other types are available like this for other games?

Also, what would nice gen 1 normal team be? The pictured three, Persian, Dodrio, and who else?
