Also I'm not going to defend those idiots, not bringing old pokemon and trusting that old players would immediately love their Kanto 2.0 was quite naive (They fixed it in BW2 but it was too late the damage had already been done) and also creating a foreign region without taking the time to learn its idiosyncrasy, its iconography, its culture, its roots, its customs to capture it in the game, it was a stupid idea, that is why it seems more like your typical Japanese rpg world instead of having a truly American essence (It's incredible that Mother, a Nes game, knew better how to capture this)
