>>54802922I wish the Ancient/Future Pokemon had something linking them more because they feel completely disjointed to the point that creating something like a "Future" deck seems impossible because all the Future Pokemon are fighting over different playstyles and energies
>Iron Moth wants 2 Fire >Iron Bundle wants 1 Water, but at least has the decency to be useful in non-Water decks via its Ability>Iron Hands wants 1-2 Electric, and also lacks any switching effects>Iron Valiant ex wants 2 Psychic and seems to be the cornerstone of what a "Future" Pokemon strategy is>Iron Jugulis wants no specific energy, but relies on Future Booster for a buff and directly links to Valiant's damage counter strategy>Iron Treads ex (Future) demands 2 Metal and lacks any switching gimmickTechno Radar is a great card for consistency, but the Future tag on non-Pokemon seems pointless at the moment. Professor Turo's Scenario, Future Booster and Techno Radar all don't really make use of their Future tag.
Still, we still have Iron Thorns, Iron Leaves, Iron Crown and potentially another Miraidon to hopefully make it make sense. Personally I'd love to see a Double Luminous Energy for Future Pokemon to better unite them as a deck, since that would cover the various different energy costs
