Why is Gamefreak so obsenly talented at making monster designs? No other company in the industry comes close to making the sort of memorable and surprising characters that Gamefreak creates. For instance, most lesser artists would have given us some kind of ocean themed waterfowl, while Gamefreak surprised us all and gave us a brilliant design I'm proud to catch.

I think it's downright embarrassing to see rank amateurs try and compete with a company full of masters of their craft like Gamefreak. Why do """artists""" online even try to compete when they'll never create something as surprising as this?
