Rhyperior not only changes the theme again (from horn drill and emphasis on the horn to "shooting rocks through arm holes") it changes pretty much everything else for the worst.
Yet it somehow still manages to be better than Magmortar and I say somehow not because Rhyperior is that bad, but because.SOMEHOW someone accepted Magmortar's design.
Roserade / Probopass / Lickilikcy to name a few were worst than what came before but most gen 4 evolutions of past pokemon were shittier than their pre-evos and somehow matched the design of the same gen (of course with some exceptions), but that's saying something of that gen as a whole.
