A flowering hill of moss and ivies suddenly revealed itself to be concealed back of an enormous crocodile that devoured two screaming girls right off the banks of an otherwise pristine pond. A stretch of uneven stones along a barren hillside turned out to be concealing the lair of a water buffalo-sized trapdoor spider that sank both its enormous fangs into the back of an unsuspecting Cynthia, champion of the Sinnoh region, before yanking her backwards and out of sight like a reverse jack-in-the-box.
