A lot of people like Centiskorch but I always thought it was a dumb moustachio-d centipede and not cool.

My normalfag friend really likes golurk for some reason.

Being genuine for a moment, Turner's designs are hit or miss for me. The Trevenant line, Poipole line, Golurk line, and the teacup are fine to good. I unironically really enjoy the sushi dragon and Dondozo, and Centiskorch is probably my favourite design of his.

The worst of his designs are just meh, not terrible but not particularly inspired.

He clearly did something right, if GF staffers unanimously agreed it was an improvement on the base enough to offer him a job when it came time to expand. And while not personally enamoured with all his output, none of them are actually bad and some of them are fucking class, either by execution or concept (I love the parasite/fish subversion where Tatsu controls the fish, rather than just eating its tongue and replacing it and Naganadel is the first Hymenoptera-style pokémon I've ever wanted to use, rather than just collecting for the 'dex like beedrill or vespiquen)
