>>54794579>Arbok vs SandslashEarly Slash and Dig is all Sandslash needs to be great, while Arbok is horrendous despite having some good moves.
Arbok is an excellent X Accuracy abuser though.
>Vileplume vs VictreebelBetter stats, better movepool, this isn't a competition. Victreebel wins.
>Primeape vs PersianMankey is actually good unlike Meowth, and Persian is just straight up inferior to Primeape until level 51, when it finally gets Slash.
>Arcanine vs NinetalesBoth of them are somewhat bad. Growlithe should really just grab a Fire Stone immediately and evolve and use TMs to fix itself up. It uses Dig well. Levels slow as fuck.
Vulpix can more realistically go for Flamethrower at 35, but it is a lot worse than a Dig-spamming Arcanine until that point. Even then, Fire is a bad type for the late/endgame here, so Ninetales bad stats for its non-fire attacking moves is a big drawback.
Arcanine is overall better, but it's a small victory.
>Scyther vs PinsirPinsir has better bulk, better hitting power, and is fast enough with Stat Exp to outspeed anything relevant. Pinsir is also affordable at the game Corner, compared to the massively overpriced Scyther. Best things Scyther has over Pinsir is early Slash(29 vs 49) and earlier Swords Dance (35 vs 54), but neither ends up mattering- Pinsir gets Body Slam while Scyther doesn't, and Pinsir can grab the Swords Dance TM at roughly the same time Scyther learns it naturally and uses it far better.
>Electabuzz vs MagmarElectric-Type is great in the endgame, and Psychic as a coverage move is grand too. Electabuzz is the better mon(though outclassed by other Eelctric types), though Magmar isn't a terrible Fire-type.
>Summed up:Arbok < Sandslash
Vileplume < Victreebel
Primeape > Persian
Arcanine > Ninetales
Scyther < Pinsir
Electabuzz > Magmar
3-3, but Blue also gets affordable Porygon...
