Well that was easier than I thought. I hosted for randos to scout the moves and ended up beating it.

Walking Wake's hydro steam does pretty well against it with a Bellibolt using acid spray as support. One of the other randos was using snarl a lot too with an Arceus.
Almost KO'd it through the shield.

It took a bit but it was actually rather easy compared to the others. Walking Wake pretty much can trounce it, even without EV/IV investment.

Just did it solo with Miraidon, but it was really close with a tiny amount of time left, so I don't think this strat is consistent by any stretch.

I used Metal Sound, then Charge, then used Electro Drift and healed some. After that he cleared buffs, so I Metal Sound'd him until he was at -6, then I died. He cleared buff while I was dead.

After I revived I used Charge again to build up some special defense, then I kept Parabolic Charge-ing to keep my health up. Once tera was ready I snuck in one more Charge for some more special defense, then erred on the side of caution and used Parabolic Charge again instead of risking an Electro Drift. From there I spam Parabolic Charge until he was almost dead and I finished him off with Electro Drift.

Honestly, I used Parabolic Charge so much I'm thinking Metronome might have been a better item choice than Shell Bell.

I did it online, I'm afraid. Just know that Hydro Steam, the only really relevant move, can easily take advantage of Typhlosion setting up sun constantly. There's also what this anon >>54796499 has said.

Took me a couple tries, but I just solo'd it with Walking Wake
>Modest

Moves
>Hydro Steam
>Dragon Pulse

Use Noble Roar to reduce damage, wait for it to nullify stat changes (preferably use Dragon Pulse to build up Tera, though it doesn't matter much since it always steals a bit of Tera charge anyways) and Noble Roar until the shield goes up. You should be able to bring it down to -2 or -3 SpAtk. Once shield is up, use Hydro Steam over and over until dead, activating Tera as soon as you're able to. Be sure to use heal cheer when you think you need it

Honestly feels like I sort of lucked out. I had an Umbreon teammate paralyze it which sometimes helped cut down its turns, plus I even got KO'd one time. I barely had enough time to finish it off. This would definitely work better with a Helping Hand user. Not sure what Apricorn Ball is best for Hisuian Typhlosion, since none of them really fit it well, so I went with Fast Ball

Use literally anything and get carried. I hosted mine with a support milotic with safeguard, light screen and life dew, and won in seconds
I then joined a few others just for fun, in one some retard joined with Groudon, in another I saw a bread dog, both cleared. The ones I failed had suicidal belly drum azumarills wasting the raid timer

For Hisuian Typhlosion? it will try to spam Will-o-Wisp and its primary attacking move under sun will be Flamethrower.
It may use Focus Blast or Infernal Parade later on during the match, but FB is very rare before Tera and IP will almost never come up because he wants to use the aforementioned Fire moves. With this set you should survive 2 Infernal Parades at full health. Take advantage of building up your Tera gauge and not having to set up manually. The AI will do that for you.

Just spam Body Press. That’s the only move you need. Tera at first opportunity.
You don’t have to worry about setting up, weather, healing, or the Tera gauge. In the rare chance Hisuian Typhlosion uses IP or FB, you should still be able to break his shield before he has the chance to 2HKO you.
I only got knocked out once farming this and it was only after the AI used 3 Focus Blast in a row. I still won with about half of the timer.

I never thought I can actually clear this femboy with Ceruledge. Thought it will steamroll me with ghost moves.

And I never thought its fire moves actually deal that much damage in sun and just one to two Swords Dances. It recovers like 200-300 HP at least. You can even get four moves until you can tera into a fire type, so ghost moves will not bother you anymore.

Critical point is where he resets your stats while he hides behind a shield, but with some mind games of when to use Swords Dance, when to use a heal wish and when to use Bitter Blade you'll be able to defeat it.

If you're in luck, Typhlosion will land a fire move on you eventually since it is programmed that way.

Metronome works I guess. In case of a "weak" Bitter Blade with only +2, the extra amounts of HP by Shell Bell can be worth it, though. I play safe games.

thank you, this eventually worked for me, though i did have to rely on some luckily timed paralyzes (so people using this solo method may need to reroll the NPCs until they get bellibolt or umbreon, or potentially swap Charge for something that can paralyze, though this will make it much harder to survive once typhlosion starts attacking twice per turn)

Vaporeon is pretty reliable outside of unlucky crits, victory is especially likely if you get the NPC group with Arboliva.

Start with Calm Mind, immediately Rain Dance after Sunny Day and from that point on use Rain Dance whenever it dies out.
Kill time with uses of Calm Mind (and Surf/Cheer if you need HP) until Typhlosion clears debuffs off of itself. From there you spam Fake Tears until it shields, even -4 is fine in case your partners chip it down that much.
After it clears your buffs, dedicate non-Rain Dance turns to Calm Minding again, +4 will suffice if you feel like you're being pressed for time. From there you can spam Surf on free turns, you basically win as soon as you can wreck it with Tera+STAB+Rain Boosted +4 Surf damage.

Got fainted once because Typhlosions somehow got me burned, probably infernal parade, but I defeated him by spamming crunch with his shield down.

Use PP ups and people will definitely have an easier time offline

I think that'll depend on if the ultra beasts come back. I think the logic for including a way to get more in crown tundra was so players could throw a beast ball at the ultra beasts in the dynamax adventures.

Been using Bug Tera Mew with Mud Slap, Bulk Up, Amnesia, and Leech Life. I'm doing decent, but RNG always screws me somehow. Like a -6 Accuracy Ice Beam landing AND freezing me AND I don't thaw out in six turns resulting in a wipe.

Use SD instead of Bulk Up, it's faster to set up.

Wanted to fuck around and see what else I could solo it with, and I managed with Chi-Yu, but it required an NPC ally to bring Arboliva. Use Light Screen, then Snarl until you get Tera (you'll probably eat a KO before then), then reapply Light Screen into Tera, Nasty Plot up to +6, then Metronome-boosted Dark Pulse it to death. Seed Sower will keep you alive in the meantime.

when you play online, there's always at least one dumbass who brings an azu or something else that dies in 1 hit, which runs down the clock until the stat and ability reset (which is like, the one time bread dog becomes vulnerable)

H-forms I kinda doubt cause they want you to be Legends. Walking Wake I'm pretty sure they'll be a way to get it normally cause it'll eventually be VGC legal with the other 2. They'll want it to more easily obtainable for newcomers.
