I've seen a lot of people talking about how bad new Pokémon is and that it was only good in gens 1-3. I think what a lot of these people don't realise is that they probably don't like the games anymore because they grew up. You probably only think they've gotten worse because you've played more games you like, or your life has changed. Pokémon has always been, and always will be, Pokémon. I would prefer if TPC put all their effort into the new games and making memorable experiences than porting the old games. This stuff makes me think about that one SpongeBob meme with the fish crying in the car. After these games get released on new consoles the fans complain about them and ask for something else. I hate having people who don't even like the brand anymore dictating what the community wants and yelling the new games suck. If you want to play the old games, go buy or emulate them. Complaining in the community doesn't help anybody. It's sad seeing people so lazy that instead of just looking up how to get the game themselves they force other people to do their work. In 100 years, people won't remember the rereleases of the original games, they'll remember the new ones.
