Also, unlike other sets, where most people usually just buy their favorite cards and move one, a lot of people actually set out to get the master set of 151. As such, cards that would have been skipped over jumped and maintained their price.
Rift may surprise me, but unlike 151, it doesn't have that nostalgic pull. Hell, 151 may actually reduce the price a bit since more people will continue to focus on completing it before moving to rift.
