Fakemon are just: le cool design. And while thats not bad and sometimes they have cooler designs than the official ones, they either completely miss or misinterpret the sense, or don't have a direction.
You tend to see megaevolutions as just a cool gimmick. In reality it has an extremely specific philosophy behind it, a lore that connects to everything else, a sense, a pattern, a gameplay balance.
