>every part of the dungeon is made from the same copypasted assets so you can never tell at a glance if somewhere new is actually somewhere new or not
>the game tells you that going into the area is mandatory but the entire maze section is optional
>you can skip all of it if you randomly decide to go up the top ramp instead of the bottom one, a decision you'll make based on literally nothing
>if you come back during a different season the ENTIRE LAYOUT changes
>there's no boss, rare item, or other reward at the end
This was not a good dungeon.

There's plenty of money to go around early game.

Oh damn the place has an incentive to come back later, wow that's shit.

Black Sludge is a pretty good reward.
It also leads to Relic Passage, which is the first chance for you to get Drilbur, which is extremely good. (Otherwise you're waiting till after Clay)

Technically there's an area where you can catch Eevee, which is a fun reward but I dunno if I'd call it good.
