Nothing wrong with these. Rock isn’t like ice where it just needs fast offensive mons; using a rock move itself is a major gamble for such a frail shit type.

Yes, especially since Gamefreak is determined to make defensive Ice-type Pokemon. Ice's frailty to types like Water and Grass make no sense.

I don't see why not. There's not a lot of Rock-type moves and missing sucks.

I don't see why not either. Power Gem shouldn't be all a special attacker has for Rock-type moves.

Sure. Freeze is currently worthless, there's no moves guaranteeing it and it's just Sleep, but more uncommon.

Also sure. I don't see why special attackers get a free pass while physical attackers have to suffer burn and intimidate.

Also why not? Bug is only good against types that already have better coverage against, and Fairy could use another weakness.

All these ideas are good.

The solution to a stally ass meta is not freeze spam because it’s not really any healthier of a meta. Spamming freeze doesn’t fix stall, now you just have stall and freeze spam which ironically can make the game even more stall.

And not every Rock type special attacker is able to learn it either. Prior to Gen 8 with the introduction of Meteor Beam, Aurorus for example only had Ancient Power for special Rock STAB. Why the fuck was Game Freak so damn niggardly with an 80 BP move that has no secondary effects? SV marked the first time Power Gem got any reasonable form of distribution.
