Unironically how embarrassing would it be if Nintendo made something that may be able to run Cyberpunk 2077 at 60 fps in 4k and Game Freak releases Pokemon Peepee and Poopoo versions that run at 20 fps with PS2 trees?

It would be peak embarrassment if they manage to outsell even faster than SV.

And it would be the final nail in the coffin, which was already really close to it for Gen 8 alone, to the fact that GF has zero competence in optimizing games, the entire consumer base for buying and defending this (again) and that Pokemon will gradually take a nosedive under the pretense of care and innovation.

Why do you keep pretending GF hasn't ALWAYS been behind the curve? Hell, ATLUS made Last Bible which was basically everything Pokemon wanted to be years earlier on the Game Boy.

Not very, considering Nintendo aim for an adult market while staying kid-friendly and Game Freak dev with children only in mind and glean adult sales anyway. There's a cleear distinction between the markets.
Gaymers and they silly obsession with gwaffix are irrelevant to Game Freak and always will be.
