Why do Liko and Dot have the color schemes of one another's Pokemon? Why did they fuck up this pattern so blatantly?

Dot's scheme may be complementary to Liko and Roy, but the colors are jarring against Quaxly, just as Liko's is jarring against Sprig's. If they were to switch Pokemon, the complementary color palette is too perfect to ignore, you gotta admit. The three lined up together look weird as fuck because only Roy matches his Pokemon.

The violet book can be the original book, where's the scarlet one is the published one - so it's missing a lot or it's been edited, like how Briar has the original in the games, it's not hard to make it work you know.
And (if it is time travel) there's no reason why pokemon from the past and from the future can't come to the present at the same time.

idk ask the design team, but the colors match, she has (open) clam shapes on her shoes and belt, her bag being in the middle of her chest/stomach is supposed to be like the clam on oshawott both being a yellowish color, and her collar is ruffled like oshawotts collar

That and her friend from school has an Oshawott and I think she gave her the outfit, not 100% on that tho.
