Someone replied about japanese cards in the last thread. Western countries buy cards they can read, simple as.
I don't agree with people saying that's jap cards are low quality. Last pulls I found cards with bad centering or already with white spots on the back, even if just pulled.
Jap cards are pretty clean.
That's indeed nice, you can get random commons but even pristine vintage for a fraction of English cards. Except, as said, waifu cards, that are way more expensive.
I was looking for a 151 Squirtle, eventually I would buy it jap for 4-5x less, as well, it's just common sense.
