Samurott’s evolution doesn’t make alot of sense. It starts as a swordsman in training, but then it gets down on 4 legs??
Emboar was the 3rd Fire/Fighting starter in a row, but it’s not a fast sweeper like Infernape and became less popular.
Serperior is defensive, and those starters are usually not popular with kids (Chikorita, Chespin)
Then the monkeys were like not!starters made to teach newcomers about the type triangle, but that is extremely redundant.
