The problem is Skeledirge covers so many options we can't really pin it down. Male crocodiles are called bulls and Skeledirge's design loosely resembles a music bOX. There's also the Basilisk angle, Basilisks being known as the King of Serpents (another word for snake). We won't know for sure which it's meant to be until the calendar is filled out, until then it's all just speculation.

I'm only saying it's a possibility. Personally I believe the Basilisk theory is correct, but it's not set in stone. Depending how ambiguous the rest of the fire starters get we might not ever find out which is the correct interpretation. By the way Blaziken is the rooster. It's based on a fighting breed called an aseel.
