But her gym is a fighting type, well there are 7 fucking megas with that type and she could even make exceptions like the case of M. Swampert

If I recall, they didn't do Megas for Gen 6 mons cause they didn't want to make a mon that felt incomplete in it's final evo and needed to Mega to feel like a proper mon.

I stand by the idea they should have made Mega Evolution way more common. Not to every single Youngster and Lass, but anyone important. All gym leaders after you fight Korrina. All your friends/rivals (or at least the main one) at the same time you get yours. Hell, even have occasional souped up Ace Trainers now and then with one.

Also dont lock so many of the fucking things to the post game, make them all available pre-E4 except the legendary ones.

I think they didn't make mega for Gen 6 pokemon because they didn't know who was going to be popular, but it's no excuse that the main attraction of the game is anecdotal. Not even E4, not even the rematches. XY fails miserably to offer any memorable or minimally emotional moment. It's so disappointing and forgettable.

Then theyre sold like souveneirs in alola

and lgpe completely eradicates the sense of the mega lore by "megaevolution just exists"
Made even worse by the fact theres only the first 151 pokemon there. zygarde doesnt exist in lgpe how the hell could they be having key stones let alone mega stones
