The Pyrenees mountains are at the south-west of the country - outside of the reach of the south-western area where the mountains would logically be in the pokémon world. Never mind, they don't actually show another region connecting to Paldea - it's just a massive cliffside blocking off the player from the north.
The pokémon world isn't 1:1 - XYgotes thought the Galar DLC was going to be going to Kalos, despite Wyndon being situated north-east instead of south-east. You're a dense cunt for not knowing enough real world geography to understand Kalos' reach.
