>>54857260>I have to disagree with the amount of deck space and the time it takes to get out stage 2s there has to be a reasonable amount of pay off.Yes that's my point. The prize math is balanced for the amount of turns needed. It's just stage 2's SUCK to get out. Many of them are honestly quite good but it's really not worth bricking over
The original anon I replied to wanted to nerf basics. When that wouldn't solve the problem. What stages 2 need is NOT stronger stage 2s or weaker big basics. But more consistency to get going. Needing to rely on rare candy combos because stage 1s are filler garbage is the main culprit
Look at charizard (even though it's a 2 prizer okay ik) it's powercrept to shit and has everything a stage 2 wants (instant energy charging, support utility, high damage and high hp), yet is underperforming still. It doesn't matter how strong the stage 2 is if it's still a pain in the ass to get them out. This is why only gardevoir and the inteleon engine have been the only viable stage 2s in recent years as their stage 1s aren't bricks and genuinely help the decks consistency
