Localizers combine the two into teal (a blue-green mix that is mostly blue) for the symbolic connection, despite the fact the top of the mask is predominantly green (with some blue).
Bulbapedia uses turquoise instead as the mask is closer to that than it is to teal. Plus the pun with turquoise initially being named after a gemstone. Think nothing of it. The mask is meant to be green with some elements of blue. It isn’t teal in any stretch.
