Life is unfair.
What am I supposed to do in this situation huh? I have no special attackers or even super effective moves against FUCKING GRASS!? My only hope was Sunflora with the nasty Sludge Bomb to his faggot ass mantis, but of course he has Leech Life and gets a crit. Pokemon is fucking garbage.

What a fucking joke of a game. Fuck this player, and fuck Showdown.

Rarely does luck actually matter in Pokemon, even in Randbats. If you lost, it’s more than likely that you didn’t play it safe and know the damage calcs.
Once in a few battles you’ll get haxed with shit like Flame Body or crits, and even less so when you get a team that literally can’t win. Both of them suck though, which is why people don’t like and want to play Pokemon with more skill involved.
With that said, Randbats shouldn’t allow set up Pokemon in the lead slot and should avoid giving Pokemon luck based abilities.

Randbats also has bans and changes. They banned AG Pokemon because even they can tell how unfair using them is.

If you have a single special attacker you may want to prioritize keeping it alive for the special attacking angle to not leave your repertoire.

How often do those things actually happen? How often do you see Xerneas or Volcarona as a lead and your lead is like Shiftry? How often do you find something like Ting-Lu or Ferrothorn with both Spikes and Stealth Rock and you have 0 things to threaten them out or have 0 hazard control? And against sticky webs too? How often do you find Shedinja in past games where you don’t have multiple of Flying, Fire, Rock, Dark, or Ghost moves? How often do crits and misses ultimately matter and there was no way to avoid being in such scenarios or against Snowballing Pokemon? Also Calyrex-S is banned in Randbats.
People take RNG way too overboard and say shit like its the only determining factor of a game. Often times, the loser in Randbats is the person who doesn’t make the safer play and can’t mitigate bad luck as much.
