The lake is by far the best looking area in the game. Shame the water makes the fps drop to like 5, but it does look nice.

yes and thats quite the point. ps2 was the most magical era of videogames with the most magical aesthetics and vibes. though this game feels pretty ps2-esque, realistically it's at least inbetween ps2 and ps3
