"you're just an ESL" is the correct way to say that because it's an acronym starting with a vowel.
Consonants use 'a', vowels use 'an'
For example you wouldn't say "that's an laser" you would say "that's a laser" and you wouldn't say "it's a AV issue" but "It's an AV issue".
Please learn English before attempting to call people out.
