Lack of interest in the League in general, from both challengers and Gym Leaders, perhaps even further exacerbated by Geeta's micromanaging and mandates to make the league more "appealing" (which is causing more damage than it's fixing) lack of proper candidates for E4 to the point one of the Gym Leaders has to play double-duty and a toddler has to fill in one of the slots (to play doubles advocate it also means Poppy is a super duper ultra mega hyper prodigy but you can't carry an entire Region on just one person alone), zero real battling culture with having to ask people pretty please with cherry on top if they want to battle, and last but not least a Champion who just looks like a schizo since she decides to tryhard against the few people who actually decide to walk the entire road despite doing her utmost to get as much people to the end of the road while at the office. Almost self-sabotage.
Paldea's Trainer quality as a whole is rather poor overall. In both skills and attitude.
