>>54880401First time stopped around gen 5. Pokemon was always a very visual game for me, gen 5 suffered from both fugly mons and god awful sprites. Seriously the way they "move" on top of the awful outer black lines is atrocious. I don't care how "good" gen 5 was, they were instant game killers for me.
I got dragged back into Gen 6 with some friends, did literally fucking everything you could do in Kalos, Hoenn and Alola games. Everything. Full living dex, got about 350 into the full shiny living dex, every event mon, every IRL battle, trade, every online thing possible. Hundreds of legit competitive teams. I did it all. Then Sword and Shield came out. I'm never touching pokemon again after Sword and Shield. They are genuinely insulting. Everything after that only got worse from what I saw.
I foolishly transferred my mons up to Home early on. I would give anything. ANYTHING to be able to move my collection back into Bank and the Ultra games. My mistake was the final nail in the coffin for me. Pokemon is dead and my collection is lost to me.
