Everything up until Gen 5 was soul, they cared, Gen 6 was ok but 3D was the true downfall of the franchise. The washed out colours and the shitty animations, the excuses to cut the dex, ruined what charm Pokemon had.
Had they made X and Y 2D with the moving sprites, follower pokemon, mega evolutions, feeding/playing with your pokemon and super training, it would have been perfect. They could have stayed handheld, been a complete package at release, NO DLC.
It's time to give it up boys, the franchise isn't for us anymore, it's for tranny zoomers who are more interested in fucking their starters and favourite Youtuber gym leader than any real gaming experience. The games are glorified ads for cards and merch. The developers and designers haven't cared for years, the games aren't a priority anymore, and neither are we, it's over. I'm sorry.
