I doubt the "complete shiny set" will ever be valuable and desirable.

People dislike most of shinies and hate shiny cards eating slots of better looking cards.
Sure something like "a complete binder set of shiny pokemon cards from several shiny releases" will be popular but within niche collectors (like for example collectors that collect only porygons or gold cards) but nothing else.

But yeah sure-you better start collecting your shiny binder now before release of shining fates if you interested.
there will be fuckton of that to complete

im just focusing on these two sets and it feels so good. My pokemon collecting have always been kinda chaotic (i tried to focus on collecting Gengar cards but stopped in the middle-there are too many and i lost in the middle).

Just getting more cards from those sets, sealed products connected to those sets (i want to make a cool display with Lost Origin cards and boxes) feels so good.

It's like being "settled down" lol.
I don't know why but LO and ST are such kino sets. It feels that way. They are perfectly balanced.

I have double drop tine antler sheds from a local white tail deer hanging on my wall. He was poached the next year, and only had one drop. Finding those antlers was the greatest pull of my life and I will never complain about pokemon pulls again lol.

I found a cheap card i want (one of chase cards of sw/sh era) but it has these dots at the back.
The regular one is too expensive for me but i can afford this non perfect one.

Aside from the GX's every card in there is between $1-5, not exactly worth getting excited for. The only Shiny Pokemon cards worth having- ever, were the Shining pokemon from Neo, Gold Stars from the ex Series, and the first new Shining Pokemon from Shining Legends. All these overprinted nothing special shinies are pointless, kind of like any shiny pokemon found in games after gen 6.

Totally forgot about the DPPt cards, yea, those ones too, and to some degree the secret rare shinies in the BW series. Basically, any shiny pokemon that isn't printed in a set with 50+ shiny pokemon in it already.

Go to a LGS. Play the game. You rarely run into invoosters/flippers there. Lots of people collecting for various reasons. The only downside is it's rarely you'll see any cards older than BW (it's always a pleasure when you do see it since the person always has a story to go with the card).

I know there's a lot of shitposting going on about vintage/modern but Pokemon cards in general are falling in price. It's not a crash or anything (in fact most have only fallen a few dollars if anything), but the great peak they hit a couple years ago is over. It would take another set of card-related hype for prices to raise again (Biden Bux, Paul hype, Media attention from McDonald's, etc.), which I don't doubt will happen at some point, but until then the only thing keeping the market from stagnating entirely are the constant new set releases. TPC probably knows this which is why we're seeing normie bait "hype" sets more commonly this passed year.

When i was going to school (the one before high school) - our teacher once made one girl cut her nails with these type of thick scissors (it was europe in the 90s - we didnt have soccer moms that would go against such teachers) after she was telling her to cut her nails and once again saw that girl walking around with long nails.

I remember the girl standing and trying to cut her nails with these heavy huge scissors lol.

To me cutting my nails is fun - it's like satisfying process of bursting those bubbles from a bubblewrap or spinning the spinner lol.

Base set commons have been out for over 20 fucking years and they are still only worth like 30 cents. When you factor in inflation they've probably LOWERED in value.
