Sneasler's ban was 100% deserved and should have been banned earlier. Shit is genuinely busted and only made more busted when Gliscor left. There is no offensive counterplay, defensive counterplay is limited, and unless you're Gliscor, Gholdengo, or Garganacl, you had about 1/5 chance to either being fully paralyzed or put to sleep via Dire Claw.

Stall versus hazard stack is not a favorable matchup even with boots spam. Stall really only has one knock off absorber this gen in Clefable and with the power level of Gen 9 it's not as hard to break as it used to be. Once those boots start getting knocked off, stall begins to struggle. Also if you run Psyshock Ghold, Stall is fucked as they cannot wall it without something like Tera Dark Blissey or Clod.

To put it simply Gliscor got very good at putting hazards this generation, gholdengo blocks both spins and defog, the smogon council has a pro gholdengo bias so Gliscor had to go

Honestly I hate Jirachi and Serene Grace too. There definitely should have been some action against it given how blatantly uncompetitive it is, but Sneasler is way worse and so is Dire Claw. At least with Flinchhax Jirachi, you could always reliably use Jellicent, Heatran, Gliscor, or something else that could tank Iron Head until you got lucky and could do something. Your options for Dire Claw are Steel types, Gliscor, and Garg. Steels other than Gholdengo/Aegislash not working because Sneasler is a fucking Fighting type with STAB Close Combat.

Nah I still would ban it. Only 2 Pokemon in the game currently can outspeed it (Barraskewda and Regieleki), it can tank priority well, and it has Gunk Shot. Offense (the current only usable archetype) can’t do jack shit unless they’re Rain with Barraskewda specifically, and Defense still struggles because it hits so hard and doesn’t need to keep Unburden boost + is immune to Toxic too.
