If i want to play SWSH again in the same console, do i have to create another profile? I want to try a new team but I am not sure by doing it I will be able to transfer my pokemon via home or play the dlc.

I miss the old cartridges

Yes. You can then transfer to the same home account with a different SwSh save/profile.

If you open up Home on your main account, it lets you Switch to other accounts and pull pokemon from them to your main accounts Home. As for playing the DLC, yes, thats something that carries over regardless.

You can create endless profles and all of them have the dlc if you bought it once and you can send them all to home for free and from there to main account
