If kids don't deserve a quality product, then why does anyone else? Hell if kids are raised on nothing but shitty media, they won't know what good media is supposed to be, so that just means media for adults will be even shittier because they've already conditioned the relevant generations to consume that kind of slop.
But then again, a vast majority of people in America nowadays grow up in broken homes and think the epitome of kid's media is YouTube Autoplay whether due to being shitty parents or having been raised that way themselves, so I'd argue they outright don't know what good media is in the first place.
