i think im going crazy
i swear on me mum that there was a japanese childrens tv show based around monster of the week kaiju battles that had a child protagonist that had toys that would come to life and battle the bad guys, and it came out before pokemon (in the 80s or 90s? earlier maybe?)

does anyone know what im talking about? its hard to research because there are so many shows like this im getting lost
