Kek idk anons, I got memed into trying it again and there are a lot of nice routes that look great and the autumn routes are the best. I loved using Mega Ampharos too as my main Pokémon this time around, even though I couldn't get Dragon Pulse on it, but all of the times the story stops you to hangout with the four rivals is such a pain, then no post game is also garbage. It's such an amazing region, but I don't enjoy playing within the amazing region. Knowing the remakes are gonna be solid downgrades from now on after BDSP, I feel sad that XY will never ever be improved like each gen before it and after it with the exception of Sun and Moon where I was falling asleep playing Ultra Sun and took me months to force myself to beat it trying to enjoy Pokémon still. I loved Ranked in SwSh and I loved the entirety of Arceus and SV though but with the latter, it's so fucking empty and deprived of post game once you've beaten the latest raid they just thrown out there. I think the board will get shaken up massively if someone grabbed Game Freak by the throats and forced them to make a statement on becoming more with the times in terms of game development and goddamn I want X and Y to feel good to play again

Many non-cover legendaries did not have any in-game lore in the games they were first encountered in.
Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Mesprit, Uxie, Azelf, Heatran, Regigigas, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus.

Places on the map aren't mostly locked behind the credits, so people think that there is no post-game and as a result, think it's unfinished
Things that are in the post-game like the Looker story require you to go through prerequisites, so most people never saw it

That's weird. Before SwSh I considered X/Y the worst games, SwSh were even worse and made me realize that, while painfully bland and unfinished, at least X/Y didn't actively ruin the series, so there is that.

Megas were cool as fuck and never compromised on the original design and personality of the pokemon they affected, since they went back after battle.
I hope next gen they bring it back instead of doing some stupid shit.
Theoretically, Tera is the last gimmick as there are supposed to be 4, since they correspond to the 4 steps to create the Magnum Opus, but after the fucking cheese string man I wouldn't be surprised if they throw the whole esoteric alchemy lore to the dogs.
