I just don't really know what you're doing to get that amount of time unless you're doing excessive levels of grinding and capturing beforehand or you're leaving your game on.
Also, people definitely overestimate their playtimes. To put it into context, TOTK, a game that has a lot more content than every Pokemon game, took me around 60 hours to beat and see most of the game with lots of screwing around. It felt like I had been playing nonstop for weeks but the actual playtime hadn't been super long.
And also like I said, Pokemon is a very slow game with lots of very slow processes that it makes you feel like you're spending more time than you really are.
