You can’t. They closed the store in March. I’ve read (but haven’t tested) that a jailbroken DS can still download bank and transfer mons to home, but I’m skeptical. I see people selling DSs with NNIDs and Home/Bank accounts for ~$300 on EBay. That method should work with a high degree of certainty.

Yes? As long as pkhex deems them legal, you'll be fine. I completed my living dex recently by porting over the event mythicals I was missing via pkhex.

Also you get one free box in Home so OP can leave these guys in the free box til they come back somewhere. Moving from there to a game won't cost anything after.

Hack your 3DS.
Make a backup of the save file so you don't lose your Pokémon in case HOME gets shut down.
Install Pokémon Bank (can't be done without hacking).
Move your Pokémon there.
Move your Pokémon from there to HOME.
Buy every main Pokémon game on the Switch.
Move your Pokémon there, except the ones that will be stuck in HOME.

They did this with Pokémon Ranger too btw (not defending them just pointing out they've been doing this for a long time). At least you got a game with that though, I don't think the Pokéball Plus does anything.

Spinda literally cannot be transferred because whatever code that generates the spots is reversed meaning and Spinda caught in BDSP can't be sent to another game nor can ones be put in because they trigger the hacked flag

Only if you do a full factory reset of the save file, which isn't supposed to be possible using official tools. If you delete the save file normally, it still says it was transferred as far as I know.

That's only true for the original Ranger. In the sequels if you delete your save file Rangernet data is also deleted so you're good to go. You can get the egg in Guardian Signs.

i keep reading conflicting reports on how home handles stuff transferred with pkhex from 3ds to switch without bank, these mons don't have a home id, does the system flag them as hacked or does home just assign them an id anyways without issue?

Paldean Pokémon can't go to Galar because they're just outright not in gen 8 but if you catch a Pokémon from a previous gen like Gastly in Paldea, you can transfer it to all other Switch games that it is in (literally all of them except LGPE because LGPE transferring is one way for some reason)

This also includes Pokémon with new marks and ribbons, the marks and ribbons from Paldea stay on the Pokémon but cannot be seen in previous generations where they do not exist (so a 7-star Raid Pikachu can go back to Sword and Shield, you just can't see the Mightiest Mark on it)

True if you are going for game dex completion, not true if you are going for HOME dex completion (does not apply to NatDex)
Pic related, in HOME it "doesn't count" if the species was caught outside of the dex you want the entry for.

Funny thing about that. I've got both the Paldea and Kitakami Dexes fully cleared on my game, but the HOME app only shows single digit entry counts for both. I'm guessing I have to manually store one of each species into HOME to get it to count, unless there's a feature on premium subscriptions to transfer your in-game progress onto HOME without physically transferring the Pokemon onto it.
