It's has to do with neither of these things
This is about a secret pocket dimension in the depths of Area Zero where time flows slower
It's both the Atlantis referred to in the ingame files for Area Zero and the Dragon Palace myth that the second DLC is based on
It is referred to as Rakua in the anime

I'm also pretty sure it's related to memories, I think Tera crystals are data storages for memories or something. That's how the prof made the AI clones

I think Tera crystals/energy are just a deus ex machina energy source that lets you accomplish things you normally wouldn't be able to. Coupled with the professor being a genius they were able to pull off what they did. I think Terapagos' 'power' will be linked with memory stuff, and maybe work kinda like the Attack Titan/Paths in Attack on Titan.

That convinces me even more that it's supposed to be some kind of weird pocket dimension that slows the flow of time
The Terarium already does the 4 season shit so that would just be another puzzle piece

It's possible, it really depends on how they do the concept. Time could be slower, faster, or not exist at all. It could be a dimension that exists outside of time and lets you interact with all of time freely.

Yeah it's gotta be something like that. The fact that Lucius in the anime is said to have found Rakua, yet left no documentation about it behind despite documenting everything prior to that, plus the fact that Terapagos seems to believe he's still alive could also confirm this

I like the idea i read that there was a civilization that used terapagos' wish/dream powers to travel to the dream world and they left the plate behind as instructions for anyone who came after them, they also directly communicated with heath (he says he spoke to someone as if in a dream) in an attempt to bridge the gap but there's a language barrier.
