A fire type with stab grass moves and chlorophyll isn't bad competitively, just hard to build around. If you're using it outside of sun, you're using it wrong. That said, its design is kind of lacking and it definitely gives off the vibe of Nosepass/Gligar/Piloswine. Give it more bulk, a little more special attack, and a smidge more speed, and it's good.

Johto was fucked over since the beginning. Game Freak wastes dex alots in baby mons instead of evolutions that could have saved the few single stage shitters and prevented the whole “Johto shitmon” problem in the first place. By the time many Gen 2 mons got “saved” by evolutions in Gen 4 many other Gen2 mons got fucked over by immense powercreep. Now powecreep has gotten so bad that the term “shitmon” doesn’t even mean anything anymore.

To be Elekid Magby and Smoochum at least work since Magmar, Buzz and Jynx are so strong. (For the time). And Tyrogue joining the hitmons is cool. But who the fuck asked for Igglybuff? If they really had a baby quota couldn’t they at least given one to Lapras? Hell, that one tail Vulpix from the beta was at least foreshadowed in the dex. Or even a just a prevo for Skarmory so Falkner can use that instead of Pidgey.
