Was really disappointed in Mitchie M's, I usually like his stuff but he really went for the most lazy and uncreative song he could there. Deco*27 was okay, it's cute and somewhat catchy at least, but I'm not too huge of a fan of Deco*27's works normally so not too surprised it didn't resonate. I just thought the concept was at least more creative than "haha let's string together pokemon wordplay" which really just feels like it's going full circle cause their names are ALREADY fucking wordplay in the first place.
Anyway are the next artists announced yet? Hoping OSTER Project gets in. A cutesy Pokemon song is 100% in her ballpark and something I'm sure she'd love to do considering she's already done Sanrio songs. Kikuo is my top wish, doing some spooky ghost themed song probably, but I have a feeling he wasn't picked for this.
