but holy shit they have to make sableye the most annoying motherfucker gameplay-wise no matter what game he's in
in gen 3 and 4 he's just your average shitmon, but damn this thing is so annoying to deal with due to it getting prankster, especially in gen 5 UU(niche way to play the game i know but i really enjoy this metagame), and as if prankster wasn't enough don't even get me started on dealing with mega-saleye. i don't know how this shitter is doing in modern games but i bet his still being the most fucking annoying mon in any format he's even halfway decent in
it feels like they have to keep this up in sidegames as well! tcg? fuck you(although even as annoying as lost mine sableye is now, at least it's not overeager sableye, that card was such a fucking travesty of design they had to rotate him out early). unite? fuck you too(at least on release, this mon made me as someone playing from launch quit the game, i've heard he's really bad now at least so that's good)
