Emulating the event allows Mew to pass in just fine, and even so, I don't think I have enough time to shiny hunt it

This is moreso for event/one off Pokémon that will outright not be obtainable anymore, but you were right on the money with shiny Faraway Island Mew. May as well add shiny Celebi from VC as well, but I already have one from the event distro during the Zarude movie.
