Question for all my fellow Hoenn fans out there: Should I play ORAS?
I've only ever played RSE since I pretty much checked out of the series after not finishing XY. But I just replayed XY for the first time since their release and honestly it wasn't nearly as bad as I remembered. Since I knew what to expect this time around, I was sure to turn the exp share off immediately and in general I wasn't really as bothered by the things that initially disappointed me, like the sudden jump in pace or the shillmons shoved in your face, so I ended up appreciating some of the better parts the games more and ended up liking it well enough (I was especially pleased to find that the pace actually slows back down a bit post gym 6).
Anyway, this makes me want to try ORAS since Hoenn is my favourite region and there seems to be quite a lot of things about it that are praised, but I wanted to ask other RSE fans since some people seem to imply that they drop the ball and don't live up to the originals.
