The Indigo Disk will Release December 14th but with it they will announce the Expedition pass which will allow you to go on Expeditions to unique areas to catch rare Pokémon you couldn’t find anywhere else
(Expedition pass comes free with expansion pass)

The first wave releases February 9th

And will Include 3 expeditions including

Dynamax Crash-Site
Another Eternatus crashed from outer space and created a sort of dynamax den which you can explore (note there is no dynamax)

Pokémon Catchable (Mainly Poison types)
Nidoran lines
Trubbish line
Skorupi line

Crystal Cavern
A Crystal Cavern found underneath Paldea where you can catch diance as well as a static shiny carbink and other rock Pokémon
Roggenrolla Line
Aron Line
Dwebble Line


Liberty Gardens
A garden in the Unova region where rumors of a Victini sighting have been heard (Unova Pokemon)
Elemental Monkey Lines
Purrlion Line
Lillipup Line

There are also some expeditions you unlock by having save data from LGPE , SWSH, PLA and BDSP

Elemental Safari LGPE
Allows you to catch legendary birds as well as kanto starters in the wild. The area has three different corners each with a legendary bird

Foggy Forest SWSH
Allows you to catch Zacian and Zamazenta
As well as Galar Starters in the wild (based on slumbering weld)

Ageless Lake BDSP
Allows you to catch the lake guardians as well as the Sinnoh starters in the wild

Time Space Distortion PLA
Allows you to catch Giratina as well as all the hisuian forms of Pokémon and allows you to evolve the hisui starters into their hisui forms


I don’t know how many wave there will be but I do know some of the areas as well as some of the Pokemon

Ultra-Area- Cosmog and Necrozma?

Dark-Jungle Zarude?

Misty-Badlands I have no clue.
