I kinda wish Paradox Pokemon were actually proper evolutions. Maybe not the shitty robot ones but the Great Tusk should’ve been a Donphan evo.

The changes from Donphan to Great Tusk are basically the same changes from Licario to Mega Lucario. Roaring Moon and mega Aerodactyl are a soft confirmation that Megas tap into dormant DNA (Megas logo is literally just DNA), and past Pokemon we now see are actually what they were

Wouldn't work since some paradoxes have lower BST than the originals and some of them would become 4-stage lines. And making them so they are alt evos (ie Zweilous evolves either into Hydreigon OR Iron Jugulis) wouldn't work for the paradoxes based on pokemon that aren't evolutions.

If it wasn't for the existance of pre-evo forms being included in the Scarlet roster (fitting cause they're presented as literal un-evolution forms) then I could have seen them doing some sorta time machine transmogrifier item that could change your pokemon into a past/future form.
