I think Venusaur vs Torterra is a more interesting debate.
Both designs are these heavy, immovable 4 legged beasts that seem unbothered by these massive life forms growing on top of them.
Much more similarities than “turtle”

I think this is a better comparison. I like Torterra a little more than Venusaur, but both are good. Venusar's evo line as a whole is better designed but as an individual Pokémon I'd pick Torterra,
