That's a good thing though. HGSS should have been the last remake. PLA has the right idea of instead just making new games that utilize existing settings. This is what ORAS should've been.

This. There's really no reason for remakes post HGSS. I could argue their validity because the game design (for battles) from gen 1 to 3 and 2 to 4 were quite different, and gen 3 cutting off gen 1/2 from the rest.The only drastic difference gen 3 onwards is the phys/spec split. Everything after that either gets no usage (Triple/Rotation battles), or gets dropped next gen anyways.
