At the time, many kids were hyped to play a new version of Gold & Silver
It was before a third upgraded version became "standard"
At the time, the only other third game was Yellow, which was more of TV show tie-in. So a game with new features, plot, animated sprites, better colors, and playable girl was real neat at the time
